* Theoretically this team moves to the "losing" bracket and then immediately faces the winner of that bracket since both teams only have one loss. The first team to enter the loser's bracket (
Pat / Matthew) already has one loss and therefore needs to beat the second team to enter the loser's bracket (
Jimmy / Jaquie) TWICE to win the tournament. The second team (
Jimmy / Jaquie) only needs to win ONCE since the opposing team (
Pat / Matthew) already has one loss.

Just to be certain we did things correctly, I put the teams into a tournament organizer program called "
tio" and let it do the brackets. The "tournament production software" produced the same brackets and match-ups that we did manually. Click either here or on the image below to see the
image that tio produced.
As you can see the matchups get a little funky in the loser's bracket; this is due to one team suddenly quitting, forfeiting their remaining matches, and sending us scrambling to make things work in their absence. However, even with the discrepancy between the HTML brackets above and the image tio produced, we're confident that the results are 100% accurate.
