Simply using cool content isn't enough, if the screen saver doesn't have great functionality, it's not worth using. For instance, there are a lot of screen savers for cool movies / characters / video games, but the screen savers themselves aren't cool... (I'm talking to you Land of the Dead and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory...)
