The Wii is a video game console (formerly known as Revolution) from Nintendo which allows online communication and gaming (among other things yet to be released/announced). The
first thing you need to have to send messages and/or connect to another Wii console is their console number.

FINDING YOUR CONSOLE NUMBER:
To find your console number, simply hit the message/envelope icon
in the lower right corner of the Wii Menu (the screen with all the Wii channels on
it), next open the note editor screen
, finally open the address book, your Wii console number is on the COVER of your
address book. (or it may be on the first page depending on how you count the pages)
The console number is necessary for communication between consoles. We won't be able to "wii-mail" anybody unless you exchange console numbers with them
first. In order to play games online with friends, the exchange of game-specific "friend codes" is necessary. Each game will provide you with your unique code.
